A few butterflies are normal when starting or returning to school. But watch for red flags:

🟢 Normal: Nerves that ease once the day gets going.
🟠 Caution: Worries starting to impact mood or appetite.
🔴 Action needed: Panic that doesn’t ease, physical symptoms every day, or refusal that lasts.

Welcome to all the new and returning children and families for a new fun filled year. We have been getting to know one another, making new friends, sharing stories, exploring, strengthening our fine and gross motor skills through play and understanding rules and routines.

Little Learners Montessori & Preschool have some availablility in their sessional ECCE Room comencing September 2025.

The Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Scheme provides a free, universal two-year preschool programme to all children within the eligible age range, funded by the Department of Children, Disability and Equality.

Children born in 2021 and 2022 are eligible for ECCE in September 2025.

If children have just missed the eligibility entry (2 years 8 months) we can offer sessional NCS, the National Childcare Scheme which helps parents to meet childcare costs with 2 options, the universal subsidy which is not means tested and the income assessed subsidy. Inquiries can be make through email or call in during our opening hours of 9-3.30 Monday to Friday.
