The Créche provides a safe and welcoming atmosphere which will encourage your child to develop and learn to their full potential. The Créche welcomes any child between 3 months and 12 years. In addition we offer a drop off and collection to our local school. During the year we will keep you up to date with the life and work of the Créche / Pre-school with newsletters, informal chat and also our “t

hemes of the week” will be displayed for each room. The staff are always pleased to talk with you and to answer any questions you may have. If you wish to discuss something in detail or to talk privately, please let us know and we shall arrange a time to meet with you. Most parents are anxious when leaving their young children to be cared for outside the home. We, the staff and the committee, are well aware of this and keen to ensure that children and parents adapt easily to this transition. When your child / children start with us, we encourage and invite you to initially come into the Créche and spend time with him / her to assist in the settling in process (refer to settling in policy - please ask Mary in the office). We hope we can work together to ensure our positive and friendly ethos continue and hope you and your child will enjoy your time at Croí na nÓg. After 6 years working in the Office of Rathkeale Childcare, it is with a very heavy heart, I say that this Friday is my last day working there.
I have met some wonderful people, parents and children, down through the years and made great friends with all the girls working there.
The new Childcare facility opened early 2008 and I started working as the Office Administrator along with many others who started as Childcare workers, a few months later. Other great girls joined us as Childcare workers etc not long after that, in 2009 and the years following, to make up an absolutely great gang of girls to have had the pleasure of working with, with a lot of laughs along the way and with a great Manager to guide us all. And not to mention the hard work our Manager, Bridget and the Committee have to keep Rathkeale Childcare a very happy one.
Thank you to all for making my time there a very happy one and I will miss you all. x
