🌸WET & NEEDLE FELTED SOAP WORKSHOP
An Introduction to Wet Felting
Come along for a fun and colourful introduction to the wonderful world of felting, where you’ll learn how to transform an ordinary bar of soap into a beautiful handmade creation.
You’ll begin by learning the basics of wet felting, using colourful wool fibres, warm water and soap to create a soft, decorative felted covering around your bar of soap. You’ll discover how the fibres work together to create a unique, tactile finish — and you’ll be amazed at how simple and enjoyable the process is!
For your second piece, you’ll explore needle felting, adding your own decorative design to a bar of soap using wool fibres and a felting needle. You can experiment with colours, patterns and simple motifs to create something completely individual.
✨ You’ll create two beautiful felted soaps to take home — one wet felted and one decorated using needle felting.
They also make lovely handmade gifts for family and friends, and once you’ve learned the techniques, you can easily make more at home. Why not create a little collection of your own beautifully felted soaps for Christmas, birthdays or simply as a thoughtful handmade gift?
No previous experience is necessary — complete beginners are very welcome.
All materials and tuition are provided, so just come along, relax and enjoy a creative day of felting!
