Such a high standard made by the girls & their families on our recent attendance poster competition - a thoroughly difficult choice picking a winner. Fantastic 🎉

The Irish School of DIY came to Our Lady’s this week and Adam led the 6th Class girls in a hands-on practical workshop covering various skills. The girls learned how to use drills, cut timbers and strip cables. In small groups they were challenged to make a bridge in a set timeframe that would be able to hold 2 people standing on it simultaneously. Then they made their own planter boxes, following the steps laid out. Thanks so much to Ms. Cassidy for organising. The girls really threw themselves into each task showing excellent teamwork and problem solving skills.
