Just to bring you back to the fun we had at our Fairtrade 'Afternoon Tea' party on the 12th March. That tasty 'banana bread' - you could try this at home too! While shopping don't forget to purchase fairtrade tea, coffee and lots of chocolate treats!!!!

PAWS: Irish Water Safety visited our school and give a excellent presentation on water safety. They also demonstrated CPR.

We thought this was a lovely idea.

I hope everyone is doing ok in our current situation? I saw on FB a lovely suggestion that kids put art work up in front windows for St Patrick’s Day so that we can celebrate in some way and the kids have something to look at when we go our on our walks (observing social distancing advice of course). It’s called a reverse St Patrick’s Day Parade...we walk by the entertainment instead of the parade going by us. They're doing similar stuff in Spain to keep children's spirits up. Sounds like a nice idea for our community 💚🇮🇪 Maybe you could share it with other local groups and neighbours?

Women In History: Pupils have enjoyed learning about inspirational women in history. They have also watched the RTE series 'Herstory'

During science class the pupils constructed a solar panel motor. It was very successful. Pupils are learning all about fossil fuels and renewable sources of energy. They also discuss how they can make small changes to help our environment.
