Dash Cam 3/5/17
Killarney Rathmore road this evening (+1hr on the clock)
This rider shows a huge lack of patience , overtaking on a double white line on a blind left hand bend , showing little or no empathy for his own safety , let alone any other road user. No sign of the bike on the long straight before this bend , gives some indication of the speed . Looking at the rider as they pass , its very clear they are not comfortable , and riding well above and beyond their ability . Lets hope they got to their destination safe and well , and it was worth the rush.
If you are out during this great weather , please be a little more considerate than this guy.
I didn't recognise the bike and I didn't get the reg, just in case someone asks.

New Learner Permit Holders - Please Note

I get asked the same questions on a daily basis .
I always make the point , I am just the service provider, I don't make the rules.
However , judging by the inquiries I receive , I know a lot of riders are misinformed.

To Clarify :

You must complete your IBT before you can insure your bike and ride unaccompanied on the road , since Dec 2010.
Even if you manage to get Insurance and a Certificate , it will not matter until you have a "Certificate of Satisfactory Completion" from your IBT Provider.

Wearing your L Vest is mandatory whilst on a Learner Permit. Some new riders choose not to wear these.

Its up to you to ensure your Permit covers the Category of Machine you are riding , and whether or not a Restrictor is required .(You may have Class A on your permit, it means nothing unless you have qualified it by completing your IBT and you are the correct Age)

Providing incorrect information to your Insurance Provider , will certainly invalidate your insurance .

I am available to answer any queries in relation to this, remember if you have any doubt , its best to ask for clarification.
