You can expect to gain a range of practical design skills including drawing, printing, model making, computer aided design and visualisation alongside the analytical and business skills needed to excel in diverse professional and industry environments. We actively encourage our students to explore multiple areas of spatial design including interiors, surfaces, products and graphics. College trips to major European cities such as Berlin, Barcelona and Paris are an integral part of the course.

"Come join the graduating class of Graphic Design at Coláiste Dhúlaigh College of Further Education (CDCFE) at their virtual exhibition. In the grounds of our Raheny campus on a beautiful sunny day our 3D Virtual Tour brings you a variety of graphic design works but best of all meet the students, read about their work, view a selection of images and visit some of their portfolio websites among other exciting online offerings.

This 3 year course resulting in a BTEC HND in Graphic Design covers some of the most exciting and up to date fields in the areas of visual communications, typography, branding, web design & development and illustration to name but a few. The students have worked amazingly throughout the last three years and are delighted to showcase the fruits of their labour with you.

Each student has a virtual showcase where you can click through to various galleries, blogs, portfolios and LinkedIn pages. Have a browse and if you have a VR head set you can use this to really experience the grounds and the student’s work.

Just love how each student approached the same retail space with a totally different design concept based on the high end retail brand they chose. This project started with a collaborative approach where student worked together to research the brand and devise a cohesive concept for a new flagship store. They then worked individually to create their own version of the concept, starting with concept development, spatial analysis and planning, materials and finishes consideration and finally creating spectacular design presentations. We are really proud of this group of students who had to take all their classes over zoom, deal with technical issues remotely and work together to motivate and mentor each other. Congratulations and looking forward to seeing what you all achieve in the future .interiors .art._
