It's A Small World Montessori School Montessori pre- school located in Raheny Dublin 5. We have been located in our beautiful school in Raheny village since 1994.

It's A Small World Montessori School offers Montessori education for pre-school children aged from 2 1/2 years of age. Both of our classrooms are fully equipped with a wide range of Montessori materials. We have a large garden for the children. The staff are all highly qualified Montessori teachers with many years of experience. All of our teachers are first aid trained.

Well that's me gone home now till tomorrow.

The perfectionist in me isn't quite happy 🥰
but during this week before I reopen, I never sleep even after all these years. 🤣

I was up most of the night so need to head home and get ready for tomorrow. And hopefully sleep. 😴

I am looking forward to welcoming all the children back to school and have heard some are very excited !

Also to welcome our new little ones and their families to our It's A Small World Community.

When children start in Montessori, one of my goals is independance. I want to try and give the children the skills to do things for themselves, either in the classroom or in the garden.

I am sharing this video of our granddaughter Éabha from 2 years ago. She was only 2 and 8 months and trying the climbing wall for the first time.

I call this "adventurous play" rather than "risky play" it sounds less scary for parents 😀

Normally I spend many days at the school during the summer holidays but this year I haven't. This summer I relaxed, took time out, and just tipped away at the necessary things and recharged the batteries to full power again !

Do I regret making time for me ?

Not until today.🤣

The panic is setting in. I am washing windows, cleaning classrooms, doing paper work. The list is endless. I will be spending day and night here this week 🫣 Anyone got a camp bed I can borrow ?

It will be worth it when I re-open the red door at the end of the week. ( the red door which I had intentions to paint 🥰 )
