Tir Na nÓg is a non-profitable, community based pre-school. Our mission is to bring children to their full potential through a safe, fun and playful environment. We have highly qualified staff and we pride ourselves on the home from home atmosphere in our pre-school. We follow the guidelines of Síolta and Aistear which is recommended by the Centre for Early Childhood Development and Education. At

the moment we have ECCE places available for children who were 3 and 3 months before the 30th of June. We provide a CCS scheme to children who are not old enough for the ECCE scheme and who's parents are in receipt of Job seekers (FIVE MORNINGS FOR e25). Parents who are working but in receipt of medical card (FIVE MORNINGS FOR e36). Children who's parents are not eligible for either of the above schemes (FIVE MORNINGS e50). Tir Na Nog Childcare setting are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced supervisor for our busy setting in Portarlington. The supervisor will be involved in the day to day running of a preschool and afterschool service. Essential Qualifications and Experience:
Qualification Level 6 in Early Childhood Care and Education
Some Managerial experience
Working Knowledge of Tusla Regulations
Excellent Communicator and highly approachable

Still some preschool places available in Tir Na Nog. If your child is over 2yrs and 8 months of age then you can avail of a free ECCE place. Children from last year who's parents have been in contact with management will return to afterschool Monday the 28 of August. New ncs scheme applys to new children or those who did not attend from Easter who would have lost their place. Unfortunately the ncs scheme only supports working parents which really will devaste disadvantage schools. As parents who respect what tír na nÓg afterschool does to supports your child eg homework. healthy eating. cooking arts and crafts. indoor and outdoor door spots and activities. gardening and much more. You will need to contact travellers rights and TD to express the importance of school. I have tried very hard but more is needed from you the parents. Unfortunately also up until now I would have been very torrelent with weekly fee's not being paid having to wait not getting full amount of a very very small ask. This must change weekly payments no excuses. If children are sick we must be notified if children have a extented holiday please informs manager. Policies are to be adhered too. Thank you and pg we will work together for the best for your children.
