Love & Self-Care ❤️
The Butterflies were all loved up this week for Valentines 💘 We spoke about what love means to us, who we love and what we love about ourselves.
We talked about worries, and made some manifestations of our worries to rip up and throw away. It was so therapeutic for our little ones. After that hard work, we had a relaxing spa evening. And that was only the beginning of a fabulous week 💗
Well done to the amazing little butterflies. We’ve never felt so much love in the room! 😍

Robot Workshop 🤖🔧⚙️
This week in the Butterfly Room, we decided we wanted to find out how things work, and this led us to some of the most interesting inventions…robots!
We started off small - making robots from clay, crafting them with card and loose parts, printing gears and cogs in paint, painting robots on tinfoil - and finished big, creating our very own life-size robots out of cardboard boxes!
We were so excited to use real tools, screws, nuts and bolts this week, so we elevated this by exploring old electrical household items, taking them apart, seeing what’s inside and figuring out how they work 🔌
We loved seeing how creative and curious our little Butterflies were this week - we may have some budding mechanics and engineers in our midst 😉

Montessori Moments ✨
A Montessori classroom values independence and deep respect for the children as individuals and directors of their own learning. In our carefully prepared environment, we take care to change and update materials as appropriate when skills evolve and are mastered 💪🏼 Our teachers support and scaffold experiences to strengthen our ever-growing life skills so that one day, we won’t need them anymore! Roll up, Roll up! Get ready to see the most SPECTACULAR boys and girls on EARTH🎪🤡 ✨
Our Circus theme was an emergent interest of Jake’s who was lucky enough to visit the circus recently and has been all about it ever since! 🤩
We enjoyed lots of gross motor games and fun whilst practising under the Big Top and finished the week with a show for the babies who were simply astonished by our talent 🤣🎪 The creativity, expression and confidence was AMAZING 🎉
