Caroline Keane is a Laois based artist originally from Portlaoise.She completed a Bachelor Honours Degree in Fine Art in the Limerick School Of Art and Design, specializing in sculpture and combined media. We had so lever over paint from our sculptures in art club so tried some scrap art out! So much fun!!

Animals are always such a popular choice to paint in the class -
This lovely donkey Bridget was a pet of the painter, I think they capture the fun chaotic energetic nature of the animal.

Our senior art clubs also experimented with mini canvases and jigsaw like or a collection of art which can be hung separately or together!

The theme of wild animals continues with more great finished pieces. This is a collection of mix media works, pencil & watercolours, acrylics and more watercolour paints. I think you'll agree, that the artists from our weekly art classes have captured these majestic animals beautifully.

to one of the last workshops I was invited to facilitate for the Bealtaine Festival with in Portarlington Library.
I had such a creative group who took to the lino printing like ducks to water! Always a pleasure to collaborate with the libraries!
