The HFSS 6th Class soccer league came to a conclusion this week. In some balmy sunshine, a big crowd was in attendance to witness France overcoming an unlucky Belgium team. Well done to all who took part and huge thanks to Mr. Walsh for all his work running the tournament. 🏆

We were privileged to have Ben Conroy and Tomás Mossy Keyes from the Laois Senior Hurling team visit our school bringing the trophy from our recent triumph. Pupils were enthralled to hear what it takes to play for Laois, what it means for the county and how important it is to support your own home county. Doing Laois proud well done lads. Laois Abú!! 💙 🤍

Making Acaí Bowls in Mr Finn's 5th Class

Some of the fun and games from a brilliant 5th class school outing to Red Hills Adventure Centre, Kildare last week. Thanks to all the teachers involved in organising. Bhí an aimsir fliuch báite ach bhí an-spórt acu! 🎯

Well done to Ellie and Keeva who represented Laois in The Cumann na mBunscol Girls Leinster Football Blitz in Parnell Park on Thursday.

This week, Ms Fitzpatrick's 5th class took part in their class Bake Off, creating their own original cookie flavour. It’s safe to say they loved making the cookies together but probably enjoyed eating them even more so. The baking future is bright. Well done to all involved.

The 3rd Classes had a ball on their school trip to the National Aquatics Centre! Great excitement all around on the day and lots of smiles, as well as some tired, but happy, children on the way home!
