Our 6th class were outstanding leaders for their teams in this years sports day. We had 8 teams competing in rounders, benchball, dodgeball, obstacle races and many more activities. We all enjoyed a visit from the ice- cream van during the day too!

1st-6th classes had a very enjoyable and educational tour to Lidl farm today. From learning about soil types, growing vegetables to milking a cow and learning about sheep and beef farming, it was very informative! We finished off with a train ride through the distribution centre, learning about the journey of food from the field to the shop shelves! Thank you to Ciara and Rachel for your guidance and goodie bags!

A big thank you to Seanie Morris, the STEM Engagement Officer from Laois Co Council for calling to see us last week. He came with a VEX 1 2 3 kit for us which the 1st and 2nd class children trialled and loved. We look forward to many happy hours coding with these little robots.
