It was a fantastic week at this yearโs RDS Dublin Horse Show, with both past and present students of Kildalton College representing themselves brilliantly across a number of different classes. We are delighted to celebrate the achievements of our students and their horses throughout the week ๐ซ
๐๐ข๐ ๐: Niamh Kirwan took the win in the 7-Year-Old & Up Lightweight Working Hunter, along with Overall Reserve Champion, with her beautiful gelding Balief Imperial.
๐๐ข๐ ๐: Jessica Murphy won the 4-Year-Old Working Hunter on Kilcorrig Gotcha, owned by Lauren Painter. Following this success, Kilcorrig Gotcha has also qualified for Burghley.
๐๐ข๐ ๐ : Tom Hayden finished 2nd in the 4-Year-Old Working Hunter on a Dignified gelding owned by Sinead Brennan.
๐๐ข๐ ๐: Steven Mitten claimed victory in the 2-Year-Old Lightweight, going on to take Overall 2-Year-Old Reserve Champion.
๐๐ข๐ ๐: Sarah McNally competed Dartans Red Mission in the 7-Year-Old & Up Lightweight class.
๐๐ข๐ ๐: Carol Ruttle finished 3rd in the Sportsman Amateur Lightweights on Shirsheen Mayday.
๐๐ข๐ ๐: SallyAnne Geoghegan competed Ballyboodin Paddy in the Lightweight Cob class.
๐๐ข๐ ๐: Amy Finn competed Goldfield Rebel, a home-bred horse, in the Traditional Irish Horse Working Hunter classes.
๐๐ข๐ ๐: Alanna Popa and Sir Dollar - Reserve Champion Coloured horse class RDS
2026. Dollar was in on loan for student training in Kildalton for a number of years and was adored by everyone.
๐๐ข๐ ๐๐ : Griffinstown Glen was show Hunter Champion whoโs dam, Smokey was a loan horse here for a number of years.
