We would like to thank all at Certified Irish Angus Producer Group, ABP & Kepak for the amazing privilege to be given the opportunity to partake in this prestigious competiton. Unfortunately things didn't go our way today but we are delighted to have been awarded 2nd Place.

Today marks the end of this amazing competition as we head to Croke Park for the National Final.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone along the way who helped us throughout the last 2 years
We would like to wish the best of luck to all the schools partaking in the 2017 competiton exhibitioning there project in the hope of becoming National Finalist.
We would also like to wish the very best of look to the 4 other 2015 National finalist.

Today marked the end of our journey in the Certified Irish Angus Beef Schools Competition. We made our final presentation to a panel of Agricultural Experts who will decide the overall winner. We would like to thank all those who have supported us. The proved to be an amazing opportunity as we met many people along the way but also the way it developed us over the last 2 years. As we begin 2017 we ask that farmers be extra vigilant whilst working on their farms as calving season will commence in many Spring calving herds over the coming weeks. January and March we see a rise in farm deaths every year due to the increased workloads. In 2016, 21 people died whilst working on farms this accounted for 50% of workplace deaths. Think Safety

Today marked one of the finial events we will partake in as part of the Certified Irish Angus Beef Schools Competition. Our Paying it forward initiative of donating one of our heifers to our school was raffled off today with the winner Paul Cusack who scooped 1200 euro. Thanks to all who have supported us along our journey including all at ABP Ireland, Certified Irish Angus Producer Group and Kepak group.
