Ms Brosnan's Biology will be back this Wednesday 17th June with a new seminar series, catering for students going into their Leaving Cert year and those students opting to take the written Leaving Cert exam once the restrictions are lifted.

I know there is a lot of concern at the moment about the leaving cert, as it stands it looks as though the results this year will be a compilation of predicted grade by class teachers, and they are considering for there to be the option of doing the written exam in January. There is a cabinet meeting this afternoon so I should be able to give you an update at 7pm, and I am planning to continue the classes for anyone who would like to continue.

If any of you are considering a degree in science and healthcare I would definitely recommend continuing with the classes, as these would be very biology-heavy courses, and these classes would give you a strong base for further study.

If you wish, you can email me with the name of your school and I will contact the principal with a letter of recommendation to say that you showed the initiative of seeking extra classes during the Lockdown, and that this initiative should reflect your predicted grades favourably.

A huge HUGE thank you to everyone who has donated towards the project! So far this week I have received over €83 in donations, 50% which will sent to tomorrow 😊
