All Children's Integrated Primary School All Children's IPS is an all ability co-educational school located at the foot of the Mournes.

All Children’s opened in September 1986 and has prospered and grown ever since. We are an all ability integrated primary school for 4 – 11 years olds and there are currently over 210 children enrolled. The caring and dedicated staff at All Children’s IPS strive to ensure that the time your child spends at primary school is memorable, happy and rewarding. We deliver a broad and balanced curriculum for all children and aim to give every pupil frequent opportunities to express success in learning and to achieve as high a standard as possible. As an integrated school respect and tolerance are at the core of all we do. We place great emphasis on being as inclusive as possible, providing a welcoming learning environment where all traditions, cultures and abilities are respected and nurtured together. We value every child and have the highest expectations in all areas of their development:- academic, social, spiritual, physical and emotional.

🧮 Maths Week Ireland starts next week at ACIPS!

We'll be celebrating with puzzles, games, investigations, competitions and daily maths challenges throughout the week.

To get us started, this weekend's family challenge is our Newcastle Clock Hunt 🕰️

Can you and your family identify the four public clocks, tackle the Green, Blue or Amber challenges, and put your maths skills to the test?

🎁 Bring your completed answers into school on Monday to be entered into the prize draw.

🌊 Learning beyond the classroom! 🌊

This week, our P4 pupils enjoyed a lovely walk along the promenade as part of their World Around Us learning. They were busy spotting and discussing the physical and human features of our local town, while enjoying the fresh air and beautiful surroundings along the way. 🌿🏘️

It was wonderful to see the children so engaged with their learning and, as always, they represented our school beautifully. 👏💙

And, of course, every great school trip needs a highlight! 🐶🤍 For many of our pupils, that came in the form of a very fluffy white emotional support dog they met along the promenade. There were lots of smiles, hellos and plenty of excitement! 🥰

🎃 Hello, October! 🎃

Now that we’ve officially entered October, we can fully embrace all things spooky! 👻🍂 Our Parents Council are clearly getting into the Halloween spirit, and one of our very talented members has been busy crocheting these fabulous pumpkins for the school office. Aren’t they just brilliant? 🧶🎃

It can only mean one thing… our annual Halloween Disco is getting closer! We know how much our children look forward to this special evening each year, and we’re already starting to feel the excitement building. 🕷️🦇

There’s something particularly lovely about autumn in a school. The colder, darker mornings have helped us all settle into the rhythm of the new school year, with cosy classrooms, busy corridors, rosy cheeks after playtime and the unmistakable feeling that we’re properly into the school year now.

A huge thank you to our wonderful Parents Council member Heather for these gorgeous handmade pumpkins they’ve certainly added a little autumn magic to the office! ❤️

Today, we celebrate the incredible teachers at All Children’s Integrated Primary and the difference they make in the lives of our children every single day. ❤️

Teaching is so much more than lessons and learning. It’s about encouraging curiosity, building confidence, nurturing kindness, celebrating individuality and helping every child believe in themselves.

Our teachers give so much of their time, energy, patience and heart to creating a safe, happy and inspiring place for our children to grow. The impact they have reaches far beyond the classroom and will stay with our children for years to come.

Thank you for everything you do, for every child, every day. 🌟

🚜📚 A very special book created by our P6 & P7 pupils! ❤️

Last year, our current P6 and P7 pupils had the fantastic opportunity to work alongside talented local artist Kieron Black and pupils from St Mary’s Primary School to create a very special story inspired by the work of local author Martin Waddell.

✨ The result? ‘The Red Tractor’ a wonderful story that was written entirely by the pupils, brought to life through Kieron’s beautiful illustrations and compiled into a professionally produced book! 📖🎨

Even more special, every pupil who contributed is named inside the front cover, making this a lovely keepsake and a lasting reminder of their creativity, teamwork and imagination. 🌟

Yesterday, our P5 and P6 pupils travelled to Belfast for their World Faith Trip. 🚌✨

They visited the Belfast Islamic Centre and a Jewish synagogue to learn about the different faiths. They were kindly shown around the centres of worship and told about the key aspects of their religions, as well as how they celebrate their faith and about the communities connected to each faith. 🕌✡️

All of our pupils really enjoyed the day and learned a lot about each faith. We would like to thank the religious centres for taking the time to enrich our children’s learning. 💚

As an integrated school, it is so important for us to learn about different faiths, cultures and beliefs, helping us to grow as people, embrace difference and celebrate the diverse world we live in. 🌍🤝✨

⚽️ An amazing opportunity for our football stars! ⚽️

Some of our fantastic P6 and P7 pupils from our school football club recently had the opportunity to act as ballboys and ballgirls at the NI Youth Football tournaments in Donard Park! 🌟

Our pupils did a fantastic job and represented our school with pride, enthusiasm and plenty of team spirit. We couldn’t be prouder of them! 👏

Their efforts were also recognised by the Irish Football Association, who kindly sent along some goodies for our ballboys and ballgirls to share, what a lovely surprise! 🎁⚽️

A huge well done to everyone involved. We have no doubt that it won’t be long before we’re cheering you on competing in tournaments of your very own! 🏆🙌⚽️💚

🌟 Today is National Teaching Assistant Appreciation Day! 🌟

There simply aren’t enough words to describe the incredible difference our teaching assistants make every single day within our school.

From being a child’s comfort person when they’re missing their parents, to patiently helping them master a skill they once found too difficult, to bringing laughter, fun and that much-needed spark into the classroom, our TAs are there every step of the way. ❤️

They are an invaluable part of our school team. They support, encourage, nurture and inspire our children, helping them to feel safe, confident and capable. And I’m sure our teachers would all agree that they are an absolutely essential and much-loved resource within our classrooms too!

So today, we want to celebrate each and every one of our amazing teaching assistants and say a huge THANK YOU for everything you do.

Your patience, kindness, creativity and dedication make a difference to our children every single day, often in ways you may never even realise.

🦷✨ Smile, smile, smile! ✨🪥

We had some very special visitors in school today as the lovely team from Mullan Gallagher Dental Care came along to chat with our Reception to P5 pupils about the importance of looking after their teeth. 🦷😁

The children had a fantastic time learning all about good dental hygiene, including how to brush properly and why taking care of our teeth is so important. The visit was fun, engaging and full of smiles! 😃

And the best part? Everyone went home with their very own new toothbrush and toothpaste! 🪥🦷

We’re so grateful for the wonderful community links that make experiences like this possible. A huge thank you to Laura and Laura from Mullan Gallagher Dental Care for giving up their time and making the visit so enjoyable, and a special thank you to Anna Sloan from our Parents’ Council for arranging the visit. 💙

Here’s to lots of happy, healthy smiles! 😁🪥✨
