Congratulations to Róisín Sexton (Class 2022), who has officially signed with the Northwestern University Wildcats for the 2026 season.

This major career milestone marks Róisín's transition to NCAA Division I collegiate field hockey in the United States after building a highly successful athletic profile in Ireland, representing the country at international level.

In our latest spotlight, we catch up with Cameron McMillan CEO and founder of McMillan Fine Art, a staple of London's South Kensington gallery scene. Cameron and his brother Drew McMillan (Class 1974) recently hosted a successful UK Alumni Gathering for the Newbridge College Past Pupils Union. The event brought together alumni to network and strengthen connections in the United Kingdom.

Warmest congratulations to acclaimed Irish poet Desmond Egan on receiving the prestigious Civic Honour and Dara Bronze Award from Kildare County Council! 👏✨
The highest civic honour in the county was presented to Des at the official opening of the 38th Gerard Manley Hopkins International Literary Festival at the Newbridge College Theatre.
This accolade recognises his outstanding, enduring contribution to the arts, literature, and culture of County Kildare. Born in Athlone, Des settled in Newbridge, where he taught English at Newbridge College from 1972 until 1987 before dedicating his time fully to his writing. As the founder and Artistic Director of the Hopkins Festival, he has spent decades shaping Kildare into a vibrant hub for international literary exchange.
The festival continues to celebrate poetry, music, and art at Newbridge College until Thursday, July 30th, 2026.

Huge congratulations to Eve Kenny (Class of 2026) and Oisín Daniels (Class of 2026) on receiving the Outstanding Student Contribution Award (OSCA).
This special honour is recognised by Newbridge College and awarded by our Past Pupils Union (PPU). We were delighted to welcome Eve and Oisín to the Union Office recently to present them with their awards.
As our newest PPU members, we are thrilled to have them on board and look forward to their involvement in future alumni events.

A wonderful evening in West London last Thursday for the Newbridge College Past Pupils gathering! 🥂Huge thanks to past pupils Cameron & Drew McMillan for hosting at their stunning South Kensington art gallery, and to past pupils Chris Kane & Conor Doyle for organising such a fantastic event. It was brilliant for Alumni to connect and strengthen our alumni network across the UK.
