New Ross Educate Together has Junior Infants, Senior Infants, First Class open for the 2017/2018 school year. Each school year we plan to open another class, so in 2022 we will accept enrolments from Junior Infants to Sixth Class. Second Class opening September 2018
Third Class opening September 2019
Fouth Class opening September 2020
Fifth Class opening September 2021
Sixth Class opening September 2022

Over the last week, 3rd class had the opportunity to plan, create and teach and correct their own lesson to the class.

The children completed the task solo, in pairs and groups!

From lessons about favourite animals, sharks, dinosaurs, beautiful art lessons, space, football, basketball and no man's land, the children put an amazing amount of effort into their lessons.

Next Monday, 22nd June, our Student Council is hosting a bake sale in aid of Dogs Trust dogstrust_ire

We’re asking our school community to bake nut free treats for this fundraiser. It will be hosted in Lorraine’s classroom and bakes can be delivered directly to the classroom from the school gate in the morning.

What a great day! Well done to all the children for participating so enthusiastically and showing such teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the day.

A special thank you to all the children who helped out at the activity stations. They did a fantastic job.

And finally, congratulations to our 6th class students who finished the day off by beating the teachers in both dodgeball and tug of war - a fitting way to finish their final Sports Day in primary school!
