The National Ploughing Championships is now cashless. Tickets must now be pre-purchased online. They have attempted to defend the indefensible saying that emergency services need to know in advance how many will attend each day

We have all heard the mantra "it's for our safety" to justify draconian measures & this excuse is untenable as the Championships have existed since 1931 taking cash at the gate

This is ANOTHER large event in Ireland going cashless in the accelerated globalist drive for a surveillance CBDC cashless society

BOYCOTT & let them know why. The 2023 Kaleidoscope 'Family' Festival was the 1st cashless festival in Ireland to ban traders from using cash. Electric Picnic have not only also done so, but have warned that traders will be fined & escorted off site if caught doing so

By complying, people will sleepwalk all of us into a dystopian surveillance cashless society

Let's hope farming families traditionally attending this event demonstrate mettle, integrity & principle by pushing back

When you have a "neurotypical" child, you feel reasonably assured that class participation and decent study habits will result in good grades. These kids have close friends. They get invited to participate in social things like dances and weekend gatherings. They make the teams, auditioned organisations and clubs.

But when you have a child with certain differences, this is often not the case. Learning may take longer, both academically and socially. Despite their tremendous efforts, results are often a fraction of their peers and social acceptance is fleeting, setting them up for painful comparisons and bitter frustration. Instead of a fun and fulfilling experience, school can become a breeding ground for depression and anxiety, and assignments a battle ground at home. It is exhausting for parent and child alike.

This is the week of SPED (Special Education), Autism, Dyslexia, and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) awareness. For all the children who struggle every day to succeed in a world that does not recognise their gifts and talents, and for those who are walking beside them, please let this be a gentle reminder to be kind and accepting of ALL people. Recognise that the "playing field" is not always a level surface. These children are merely gifted in ways that our society does not value enough. Yet they want what everyone else wants: To be accepted. That is their right.

I would like to expose a situation. If your children don't learn with children with special needs at school and have never been taught that everyone has worth, maybe you should spend 10 minutes tonight to explain it to them, because although they don't currently live with these children at school, they will find them in their lives for sure.

In light of recent events regarding the exclusion of a child with autism from attending a school trip and a child with Down Syndrome being expelled from dance class because she couldn't keep up with it, I feel the need to share this. There are boys and girls that no one invites to birthday parties. There are special children who want to be part of a team but are not selected because it seems easier not to include these children. Children with special needs aren't weird, they just want what everyone wants: to be accepted!

Can I ask a question? Is there anyone willing to copy and paste this post on their wall without sharing it, like I did, for all the special children out there?
Please teach your children to be kind and include these beautiful children!
