Hi everyone,

We are recruiting new volunteers for September.

We are presently recruiting for all of our little stars club, junior youth club and our senior club.

We are based in Catherine McAuley Junior School which is kindly gifted to us every Wed and Thursdays for the groups mentioned above.

The club is affiliated to the FDYS and free Garda vetting and safe guard training is provided free of charge.

We have currently an experienced team of volunteers from SNAs teachers, parents and TY students volunteering at present.

We want to thank our current volunteers who without them the rainbow would not be possible they are valuable members of our service and very valued in our community.

The Rainbow Youth Club New Ross - FDYS is a subsidiary of the Dreambig Foundation SE CLG and the Board of Directors would like to take this opportunity to thank all our volunteers who are so dedicated to our children.

Well done to all the students who created our beautiful May Bush!

Delighted to announce the winners of The County Wexford May Bush Competition for 2024. This is a job we never like doing as there are so many great photos from all over the county and it is so hard to choose winners. Every school puts in so much effort from painting egg shells to making the decorations. However, we had to pick three and the 2024 winners are......

1st - Catherine McAuley Junior School, New Ross
2nd - St Joseph's NS, Donard, Poulpeasty
3rd - St Kevin’s NS, Tara Hill

We would also like to give a Special Mention to St Clemen's Community Playschool in Gorey who every year go to huge lengths to introduce the children to the tradition and the children (and staff) do amazing work.

Each of these 4 schools will get prizes in the post while every school that participated will receive a copy of The May Bush in County Wexford book.

We really appreciate the time that teachers, staff and parents put into submitting the photos to us and thanks for supporting the project and introducing the children to this great Wexford tradition.

There will be an information meeting for parents of next September's new Junior Infant students at 7 o' clock on Tuesday the 13th of June at Catherine McAuley Junior School . We are looking forward to meeting everyone.
