We’re delighted to announce that rehearsals begin next week, as students and teachers from both schools come together to begin work on what promises to be a fantastic production.

Produced by teachers from CBS New Ross and Our Lady of Lourdes Secondary School, with choreography by Catherine Power, we can’t wait to bring this much-loved musical to the stage!

🏫✨ A Look at the Transformation Underway!

There has been plenty happening behind the scenes at Our Lady of Lourdes Secondary School over the summer, and we are delighted to share a few snapshots of the progress so far! 💙💛

From our brand-new windows giving the school a fresh new look externally, to our new red and blue lockers, tables, chairs and other new furniture, there have already been some fantastic changes throughout the school.

We are incredibly fortunate to be able to use department funding to help create a bright, modern and welcoming space for our students and staff.

There is still some work to be completed, but we are excited to see everything come together. The finished product will be brilliant! 🙌

🌟 Welcome to Our New First Years! 🌟

It has been a fantastic start for our two new First Year classes, who are settling into secondary school brilliantly! 💙💛

With the help and guidance of their wonderful Meitheal Leaders, teachers and SNA’s, our First Years have been having great fun getting to know their new surroundings, finding their way around the school and discovering all of our classrooms and facilities.

It has been lovely to see so many smiles, new friendships and plenty of enthusiasm as they begin this exciting new chapter. We are delighted to have them with us and look forward to seeing them continue to settle in and thrive! 🌟📚

Very exciting times ahead with this production of ‘Grease’. The school is thrilled to be part of this show once again! CBS Secondary School New Ross

The much-loved musical, Grease, is set to return to the stage this December as Our Lady of Lourdes Secondary School and CBS New Ross officially announce their 2026 school production.

Congratulations to this week’s winner, Geraldine Cullen, who takes home €20! 👏

Unfortunately, there was no jackpot winner this week, which means next week’s jackpot climbs to an exciting €550! 💰🍀
