We have been having weekly dance classes with Megan. Everyone from Junior Infants to Sixth Class are really enjoying these and all loko forward to the classes every Monday morning.

A special word of congratulations must go to our superstar Jenny. Jenny missed the majority of fourth class due to illness. She arrived back into fifth class in September with a smile on her face and a drive that would put us all to shame. She earned her place on the cross country team and completed the race yesterday with all her classmates. We are all extremely proud of you Jenny and delighted to have you back.

What a great day we had today at the schools cross country in Thurles. The sun shone and we al had a fantastic day. Everyone put in a huge effort and really tried their best. We won lots of individual and team medals. Well done to everyone 👏 Nenagh Olympic

1st and 2nd Class are thoroughly enjoying their Gaelic Football training with Fergal since we came back to school. Plenty of Cora Stauntons and David Cliffords in the making. Thanks to Fergal for facilitating these sessions.

This week we had a fantastic example of 'Farm to Food'. We harvested the potatoes that were planted in the raised beds last year. Ms. Quigley and Aisling then took all these potatoes home, washed them, peeled them and cut them into chips. On Friday, Niamh and Aisling cooked all these cholips and everyone was delighted to get the fresh chips in their lunch box. Thanks to everyone involved for all their work and especially to the families who came up to water the crop over our long hot summer.
