There are two inbuilt biases that high performing are aware of and vigilant to.....

First up is which is a tendency to look for, favour and interpret information that’s consistent with and supports your beliefs.

The next one is closely related and called desirability bias.
This is effectively a filter or lens that bypasses lots of relevant detail so that you see what you expect to see.

A has to be wary of the effects of these two irrational belief sets; they'll absolutely influence your behaviour and response.

Unchecked they can and will compound to a position where you cease to apply your wisdom & experience objectively and intelligently to the point where they colour or distort truths that are hiding right in front of you in the wide open.
