To help raise funds for vital
learning resources including technology, sensory equipment, and learning materials that will make a real difference in the lives of our children every day in school.
You can support the fundraiser by entering teams to play on the day (4 ball, meal & goodie bag included, prizes to be won), by securing corporate sponsorship, by sponsoring a tee box or making a donation. Please spread the word to family and friends or any business contacts. We know you’ve been busy spring cleaning and donating to our shiny new clothes bank- thank you!!

Some items that don’t belong in the clothes bank are our school uniforms & tracksuits! We will be holding a second hand uniform sale in the coming weeks so now is the perfect time to donate those items that are getting too small! Donations can be left in the Sunshine Room until Friday March 27th and we will be in touch shortly with the details of the upcoming sale.

Well done to Cai Murphy who visited our junior & middle classes today as part our annual Readathon. Cai spoke about the process behind writing her first book, inspiring lots of our students with her ideas and enthusiasm! Well done Cai and thank you! Copies of Cai’s book are now in our school library!

With Readathon officially kicking off on Monday, author Pádraig Kenny paid a special visit to our middle and senior classes today. The students really enjoyed his visit and they will soon be able to borrow his book from the school library as the Parents Council has purchased several copies!

Important Readathon dates are included for your information…and to save any night before panics about dress up day!

It’s that time of year again- our Readathon is here! Sponsorship cards and all information will be sent home with students over the next few days. Here are some important dates to note. Any questions, please contact your class rep or any member of the Parents Council.

Would you please consider spreading the word about our school lotto to family and friends? The organiser of our school lotto, Our Fundraiser, will award a prize of €500 to the three lotto organisations with the highest percentage increase in members between now and the next lotto draw on the 18th of December and this money could be very useful to our school.

If you’re trying to tempt family and friends to join, you might be interested to know that the lotto draw on the 18th December has some fabulous local prizes just for our members, as well as some amazing prizes nationally.

You could also let them know about our most recent jackpot winner, Laura McKenna, a parent in the school, who won €1625 just last week!! Maybe our new members will have the same luck!
