Well that's another year over and we celebrated in style. With our amazing graduates putting on a brilliant show for parents, friends and grandparents, a visit from the ice cream man, and a bouncy castle party, we certainly know how to party.
We are so super proud of our ECCE class as they set off on their new adventure we wish them the very best. Remember keep those sunglasses close by, Danielle is right, your futures are so bright. ππππππ

Well as part of "occupations week" we had some very special visitors today. The children were bursting with excitement as they got to become members of An Gardai Siochanna for the morning. Thank you so so much to both of the lovely Gardai who gave up their time to come visit us. The children really did have a great day βΊ

Oh the excitement today. The Easter Bunny arrived early, just in time for our ECCE class to join the egg hunt, before we break for midterm.
Enjoy the break everyone and a huge Happy Easter from the Friendly Faces Team ππ°π£

We are delighted to say that after carrying out a risk assessment on our property Friendly Faces will reopen tomorrow, however due to road conditions in the area we will not open until 8am.
Our garden is still covered in snow so we DO NOT advise you to drive into the garden.....where possible we would advise parking at the nursing home or school and walking up, as at this point it would be too difficult to turn around.
To ensure we do not cause any interruptions to our neighbours we would ask that both drop off and collections are done promptly.
We appreciate your continued support during these past few days
Kind regards
Friendly Faces

Dear Parents,
Due to the ever worsening weather conditions it is with regret that we will have to remain closed tomorrow Thursday the 1st March.
We must be mindful of the team, children and families safety in this time of extreme weather.
Friday may very well be a better day but we will reserve our decision until. 6 p.m. tomorrow and continue to keep you updated
Thank you for your understanding and support on this occasion.

As you are aware "the Beast from the East" is on its way. We are unaware of how this will effect Friendly Faces but we would just like to prepare you for the possibility of closures. We will do our upmost to prevent this and will be monitoring the situation closely, following guidelines from dept of education and the dept for children and youth affairs. The safety of the staff and children are a priority. We appreciate your cooperation as always.
Kind regards

Just an update. After risk assessment we are happy to say that we have no structural damage to the premises and the road to creche is now clear. However we are still without power, we are hoping power will be restored soon, according to information from Esb there are 5 different fault lines in the naas area and no estimated time on repair is given. We would like to thank you all for your understanding and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.
