🎉 Huge congratulations to 3rd year student Sarah Rose Edwards! Her fantastic short story, “The Small Leather Shoes,” was published in The Irish Times last week as part of the Fighting Words supplement. We are incredibly proud of Sarah Rose’s talent and hard work 📖✨

End of Year Awards 🏆🏅
Today we had our end of year awards assembly which included our annual wellbeing procession recognising student achievements both inside and outside of school, followed by the presentation of blazers to the incoming Prefect team for 2026-2027. Well done to everyone involved, rounding off a great year in NCC!

Last night our 6th year students graduated from Naas Community College. Wishing you all the best for the future, we know you will do great things!

Fantastic performances from the team at the Leinster Finals in Tullamore!

🥉 Harry Kearney claimed bronze in the junior boys discus with a superb personal best throw of 34.44m.

🥈 Amber O’Connor powered to silver in the girls U16 200m, clocking an impressive 27.89 seconds.

👏 Eibhlin Humphreys also put in a brilliant run in the junior girls 800m, finishing 5th in a strong time of 2:27.
A huge well done to all our athletes

Our Senior Art students enjoyed a fantastic tour of street art in Dublin City centre and a tour of the National Gallery of Ireland yesterday in preparation for both of their Visual Studies written papers.
Thanks to Ms O’Sullivan and Ms McEvoy for organising the trip and accompanying the students 🎨🖼️🖌️

Comhghairdeas ó chroí le daltaí ón gCoiste Gaelbhratach!!

The committee members attended a wonderful event i Luimneach an tseachtain seo caite. The Gaelbhratach award encourages the use of Gaeilge outside of the seomra ranga, no matter if a student is fluent or only has a focal nó dhó. Táimid an-bhródúil as na daltaí a chuireann iarracht isteach, and that enjoy celebrating cultúr Gaelach and all the language has to offer.
