Last weekend's annual grading event marked a historic milestone for Naas Ninjitsu Club, as a father and his two sons all achieved their coveted black belts together.

The Hennessy family has been training with Naas Ninjitsu Club for the past 11 years, with only a break during the COVID-19 pandemic. Their unwavering commitment, hard work, and dedication to both the club and the art of Ninjitsu have now been rewarded with the achievement of black belt status.

Since joining the club, the family has graded together at every level, progressing successfully from yellow belt through to black belt. Reaching this milestone together makes for a truly special family achievement and reflects the values of perseverance, discipline, and mutual support that martial arts inspire.

Naas Ninjitsu Club prides itself on being a family-oriented club. Inspired by families like the Hennessys, the club now has a growing number of parents, siblings, and children training together, with many progressing through their own grading journeys side by side. It is wonderful to see families sharing the experience of martial arts, strengthening family bonds, building confidence, and creating lasting friendships within the club.

As Sensei of Naas Ninjitsu Club, I am incredibly proud to have watched the Hennessy family's journey over the years. Their dedication has been an inspiration, and I look forward to sharing many more years of training with them and with our ever-growing martial arts family.

Good morning, everyone.
Grading day has arrived! Please make sure to arrive well ahead of the start time in Naas Sports Centre. Registration opens at 13:40 and closes promptly at 13:55, so we can begin on time.
Most importantly, don't panic. Relax, enjoy the experience, and remember that your grading is not based solely on today's performance, but on all the hard work and progress you've made over the past number of weeks.
One key thing to remember: check your low stance!
As your Sensei, I am incredibly proud of how far each and every one of you has come. You've all worked hard, shown great commitment, and earned the opportunity to be here today.
I look forward to seeing you all this afternoon. Best of luck—you've got this!

Good evening, everyone.

I just wanted to share a short note regarding the fitness test the students completed for grading this weekend. Every student put in an exceptional performance and showed tremendous determination throughout what was a very challenging session.

Despite the difficulty, no one gave up, and I could not be prouder of their effort and perseverance.

As your Sensei, I am incredibly proud of how far each and every one of you has come. Well done to all.
