What an amazing visit we had today from Caoilfhionn, our very own Rose of Tralee! The children loved hearing from her about her story of how she came to win Rose Of Tralee. We were so inspired by the positivity that Caoilfhinn has taken from her journey with alopecia. She encouraged the children to see the best in every situation they are faced with and to embrace their own imperfections. Thank you Caoilfhinn for taking the time with us today!

Thank you so much baby Jacob and Agnes for helping us with our Roots of Empathy programme this year. Our Daisy and Bluebells classes loved it and learnt so much from our “tiny teacher!”

A huge well done to our hurling team who played today in the finals of Cumann na mBunscoil- they did a fantastic job and played brilliantly. Unfortunately they were beaten in the end - well done everyone for a super season of playing.
Thank you to Ms Sharry and Dayna for so much hard work with the team.
Also thank you to Crookedwood GAA for their support and gift of sliotars to the school.
We really appreciate the support from various generous sponsors including Sean Smyth Civil & Construction Ltd
