As our Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate students begin their exams tomorrow, we would like to wish each and every one of them the very best of luck.
Over the past number of years you have worked hard, shown resilience, and prepared yourselves for this moment. Trust in the effort you have put in, stay calm, and give each exam your very best.
Remember, these exams are just one part of your journey. Be proud of how far you have come and approach each day with confidence and positivity.
The entire Coláiste Mhuire community is behind you. Best of luck to all our students. You’ve got this! 🍀

🏆✨ Today we celebrated our Annual School Awards and what an occasion it was in Coláiste Mhuire!
We were delighted to welcome back some very special guests, our Coláiste Mhuire alumni and members of the Westmeath Leinster Championship winning team, who presented our sports awards and proudly brought the Delaney Cup along to join the silverware from an unforgettable year for our school. 🏆
Congratulations to all of our award winners across the day, from Special Recognition Awards, Student of the Year, Attendance Awards and Leadership Awards, right through to our prestigious 6th Year Awards. Every award recognised the commitment, effort and achievements of our students both inside and outside the classroom. 👏
Today was a wonderful opportunity to come together as a school community and celebrate what has been an incredibly successful year for Coláiste Mhuire. We are immensely proud of all our students and grateful for the positivity, pride and performance they bring to our school every day.

Gold for Galvin at Leinster Schools Track and Field
In the final individual race at the Leinster Schools Track and Field Cillian Galvin blew apart the field in the Under 16 Boys mile over the last lap. The young Clonkill athlete bided his time for the first kilometre before taking the lead. Then with five hundred metres to go he surged. He continued to stretch his lead right through to the finishing line which he crossed in 4:41.23 three seconds ahead of Conal Fitzgerald in second.
Jamie Wallace and Antonio Bertolo also won medals in their races and all three now progress to the All Ireland Schools Track and Field Championships which take place in Tullamore in ten days time. Oisín Clarke narrowly missed out on a medal as he finished fourth in his 1500m. Conor Walsh and Donnacha Doyle also competed well.

What a way to finish off a fantastic TY year 👏
Our TY students enjoyed their end of year trip to Carrick-on-Shannon where the lads had great fun taking on the challenges at Zipit before finishing the evening in style with a formal meal at the Landmark Hotel.
It was a brilliant day full of laughs, memories and a great opportunity to reflect on what has been a hugely positive year for this TY group. Throughout the year, the students embraced every opportunity, represented the school with pride and made a lasting impression on the wider school community.
We would like to thank all staff, parents and everyone who supported the programme throughout the year.
We wish all the lads the very best as they now begin the next stage of their journey entering Senior Cycle in the school. 👏🎓
