Congratulations to our two very hard working students Hei Wan Seto and Reiltin Drennan who will be fulfilling ong held ambitions to study in trinity college Dublin. Both achieved offers to their chosen undergraduate course through the higher education links scheme. We are so proud of you both!

"I decided to do this course because I wanted to make sure teaching was the career I wanted to pursue and felt the work experience aspect would be beneficial. I got work placement in a secondary school and because of this, I knew that secondary teaching was what I wanted to pursue. The course was very enjoyable, the tutors were always really helpful, and the environment was always a positive one. In terms of the course work, if I had one piece of advice it would be to not be afraid to ask for help from the tutors. That’s what they’re there for and to get the most out of the course their feedback is important. They were always very helpful and never once shied away when I needed assistance. I would recommend this course to anyone thinking of pursuing teaching even if they know it’s what they want, purely because of the modules. We were given opportunities to work in schools and to teach classes and this was the most enjoyable aspect for me personally."
