Atlantic Technological University (ATU) and Cavan Monaghan ETB (CMETB) are delighted to announce the launch of a new Tertiary Education degree at Cavan Institute, the BA (Hons) in Social Care Practice. The programme now provides a one year plus three-year study opportunity for learners interested in studying year one of the honours degree programme at Cavan Institute.

Following completion of year one of the programme, learners will then progress to year two of the honour’s degree programme at ATU Sligo. This innovative partnership between ATU and Cavan Institute is the latest addition to the tertiary education programme offering at ATU and is a significant step forward for the social care sector and regional development.

Pre-University Primary and Post Primary Teaching – Important Update

We are delighted that our Pre-University Teaching course Level 5 course (5M3635) is now included as a progression routeway to the following Level 8-degree programmes in University of Galway: GY105 Arts (History), GY109 Arts (Maths and Education – Concurrent), GY110 Arts (Children’s Studies), GY111 Arts (English and Creative Writing), GY122 Arts (Cumarsáid agus Gaeilge), GY133 (Computer Science & Maths Education – Concurrent), GY135 Arts (Global Media), GY136 Arts (Gaeilge agus Aistriucháin) and GY137 Arts (Child, Youth.

Today's the day folks! All the hard work has been done so time to breathe and believe in yourself ☺️ take each exam as it comes, avoid rehashing questions or comparing answers afterwards with other students just park it and move on.

There's never been more routes into careers than now and the right pathway is out there waiting for you no matter what happens during the next few weeks.
