Hi... transition and change are constantly a part of our lives and on the face of it we openly say that yes, we agree and acknowledge this movement, emotional and otherwise in our lives. But then comes that but, that inner voice which operates as a one trick pony with that repetitive mantra or tune..."do I have to do this again". We resist and use up valuable energy fighting and pushing against something that is organic and a fundamental part of our personal evolution and growth. It's almost as though we assume we have the power to call time on our mental, physical, emotional and spiritual development, to decide that enough is enough. We are standing on the middle of the railway tracks admiring the beautiful scenery, visualising our idyllic Utopia, blissfully unaware of the one thing that is relevant to us at this particular moment....the loud "Choo-Choo" of the oncoming train. Life never gives up on people, people give up on life.
Like it or not we are all sailors, constanly navigating our way through our own personal and very individual waters. We are always comparing even though we accept we are snowflakes, no two alike. We have the right, the power, to give ourselves permission to like, even love ourselves and by extension, our lives.
I'll ask a question, if you feel all is not good with you at this moment, you're out of kilter, depressed, anxious, whatever.... it actually does not matter what the problem is, the bottom line is you don't feel good, complete...what would you do if you were told that you had six months left in your life. Grab a piece of paper and a pen and just jot down what automatically pops in to your head.. don't filter, you may lose a gem, a nugget of enlightenment.
