To top off probably one of the most successful weeks ever in Scoil Barra Naofa, Ms O' Sullivan and the 5th and 6th class 3DPrinting group won the Overall First place( out of the 18 schools who entered nationally) in the Learning Journey Award. Out of all the awards this was the top award presented today. The school will receive a trophy, a €200 donation to purchase IT/STEM equipment and the pupils involved will be treated to a tour of the Strykr plant in Carrigtwohill. We can thank Ms. O' Sullivan enough for the endless hours she put into the project and our extremely talented pupils. It's so lovely to see our local area being the theme for their project! We are Monkstown 💪👏🌟🌟🌟

What can we say about this exceptional group of girls? Today they played with heart and fierce determination to be crowned Sciath na Scol Camogie Champions for the first time ever in the school's history! It is a day that we will all remember with fond memories! A huge thank you to Ms Power and Ms Hayes for all their efforts training the girls and co ordinating the matches. To Jen for organising the Passage pitches and endless 'lifts' up to the matches and training sessions! To the Board of Management and PA and to the girl's parents for all their support, encouragement, washing jerseys and endless lifts to matches! Thank you to for coaching the girls during the year 👏Finally to the girls respective clubs Passage, Ballygarvan & Nemo for developing the girls skills... They all have a bright future ahead of them and will most definitely inspire the next generation of GAA players in SBN!
