Moate Business College Moate Business College provides further education, 'PLC' courses to the population of the Irish midlands. We provide courses of one or two years duration.

On completion of the Irish Leaving Certificate (end of secondary school examination) or its equivalent, students are entitled to apply to MBC for a place on one of its 17 courses. Our principal awarding body is Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI)

A QQI Level 5 qualification takes one year and a QQI Level 6 qualification can be secured in a subsequent year on successful completion of the level 5. MBC works tirelessly for the benefit of its students and will do it’s utmost to provide the best further education possible.

Our Art students had a fantastic day in Galway last Thursday exploring the city’s urban streetscape and rich artistic heritage. From colourful streets and architecture to public art and creative spaces, the trip provided plenty of inspiration for their own artistic work.

Last week our new art students in MBC explored the beautiful surroundings of Dún na Sí Heritage Park gathering visual inspiration through observational sketching, photography and close study of the natural surroundings.
