We are absolutely delighted to celebrate the excellent results achieved by our Class of 2026 Leaving Certificate students! 🎉

While points are important, success is about so much more, the friendships made, experiences shared, challenges overcome and personal growth along the way.

Our students have shown incredible commitment, resilience and determination, and we are immensely proud of every one of them.

Well done to MCS students Ellie Bastic, Emily Galvin, Sophie Duffy, Aoibheann Quinn, Nathan Marsh, Eoin Duffy, Michael Finan & Harry Dolan who won the u16 All Ireland 🇮🇪 Community Games Tag Rugby 🏉 representing Castledaly, Clonbonny and Ballinahown.

Well done to MCS student Aimee Greene as she captained Ireland U15’s in Croatia this morning, playing a starring midfield role in a 5-0 victory over the hosts.

Our Lourdes volunteers are busy getting prepared for the Carmelite pilgrimage to Lourdes in September. They will assist and accompany pilgrims who need help. Lourdes will be particularly busy as our students will be there during Pope Leos visit. They would greatly appreciate your support for their table quiz and raffle this week

Well done to Mollie Quinn and Caitlin Bastic who were chosen for the U18 girls Irish touch rugby team, with Mollie as Captain. The girls fly out to England next Wednesday. Best of luck and well done!

🇮🇪🏃‍♀️ Best of luck to Moate Community School student Ally Duffy as she competes in the Girls’ 2000m Steeplechase Final at the European Athletics U18 Championships! 🌟
Ally, from Castledaly, qualified for the final after an impressive performance in her heat, finishing third in a time of 6:52.32 on the track in Rieti, Italy.
A talented athlete who has already proudly represented Ireland in cross country, Ally now has the opportunity to compete for a European medal and add to her impressive list of provincial and national achievements.
