Kate's Montessori Kate’s Montessori Preschool was established in 2010. Our Afterschool Services operate in Glenahulla and Ballindangan National Schools.b

Kate’s Montessori Preschool is situated in a country location with a large outdoor area giving it a unique aspect. We have a flower and vegetable garden and keep various animals. Kate’s Montessori runs a sessional service for children from the age of two and a half to six years of age. Our philosophy is to keep our group size to a minimum in order to ensure each child receives the continuous attention and support necessary in order to reach their individual potential. We facilitate children with learning difficulties and work with outside agencies where necessary. We promote inclusion by representing each child’s interests and culture. We promote family involvement and by working with parents children learn to view the Montessori setting as an extension of their own family. An open door policy exists within the setting and parents are invited and encouraged to assist with activities, events and outings.

September flew by so quickly that we welcome back old and new friends to afterschool, we have lots of fun 😀 and the weather has been very good that we were able to get out and play. The children love playing soccer in the ASTRO , coloring, toys and lots more 😊😊😊 be exciting year ahead 😀

This week the Butterflies 🦋 and the Caterpillars 🐛 learned all about farm animals 🐏🐷🐄🚜. We made some lovely art of farms, sheep and pigs.
We also added some lovely pieces to our fairy garden and had fun playing with them 😊
We also enjoyed going on a lovely walk & celebrating one of our friends birthday 🎂

We had the pleasure of welcoming all of our wonderful Butterfly's fabulous grandparents to the school this morning for our annual Grandparents' Day!

A special thanks to Father Michael Corkery for a lovely blessing, all the donations of cakes and treats, and of course to our lovely boys and girls who sang their hearts out for their nanas and grandads (and to secure their treat after!! 🤭) 😄🥰
