We are a full day care and sessional setting based in Milford and Rathmullan providing care and education to young children.
We promote our education through the areas of Aistear. Fairytales Pre School Rathmullan offers full pre school services, supporting the Aistear Curriculum. We are open Monday to Friday from 9.00am- 12noon. We offer indoor and outdoor facilities at the premises. We have fully qualified and experienced staff.

After 19 years, we have made the extremely difficult decision to close Fairytales this June. This has been far more than just a job for me. Caring for, supporting and watching so many children grow and learn over the years has been an incredible privilege and something I will always be proud of.
I am deeply grateful to all the families that who have trusted me with their children. Your support, kindness and community have meant so much.
I want to thank our team who are dearly important to us.

Fairytales Day Care first opened in 2008. Starting with just two staff members and eight children, the business has firmly established itself with two locations in Donegal and its third set to open in September 2019. Fairytales Day Care employs more than 24 full and part-time team members and offers a range of services from full and part-time day care, pre-school, breakfast club and after-school club as well as morning and evening childcare packages. Fairytales Day Care can offer suitable childcare and education for babies aged from five months to school going children.
Fairytales Day Care Milford
Fairytales Day Care Milford, located in Drumbern on the main Milford to Kerrykeel road, offers all childcare services and educations (listed above) and is open Monday to Friday from 7.45am – 6pm for 50 weeks of the year.
Fairytales Rathmullan
Fairytales Rathmullan offers a pre-school service at St. Joseph’s National School and is open 38 weeks of the year from 9am – 12noon. From September 2019, we will be offering an after school club running from 2 – 6pm.
Fairytales Forest Ray
Opening in September 2019, Fairytales Forest Ray will offer an outdoor pre-school experience and will be open 38 weeks of the year from 9am – 12noon.
