Thank You to Our Parents and Guardians!

Thank you to all the parents and guardians who attended our Information Evening on Studyclix and Exam Revision. We hope the evening provided you with valuable insights, practical guidance, and a better understanding of how these two excellent online study platforms can support your child's learning and exam preparation.

A special word of thanks to Ms Roisin Coyle and Mr Michael McGroarty for their informative and helpful presentations.

We always welcome your feedback and suggestions on how we can further support families in making the most of these fantastic resources. The presentation slides will be emailed to parents and guardians in the coming days.
Thank you once again for your attendance, engagement and continued support. By working together, we can help our students make the most of the learning opportunities available to them!

🎹 A Gift of Music, A Lasting Legacy 🎶

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Tom Nunan for the very generous donation of his family’s grand piano to our school in memory of his son, Oscar (RIP) a former student of Loreto Community School.

The piano has been a most welcome addition to our canteen area, giving our students the opportunity to share their musical talents and fill the air with music.

On Wednesday afternoon, Alex Kerr wowed us all with a spontaneous piano performance, later revealing that he had only started playing two years ago and is entirely self-taught! What a wonderful reminder of the talent and creativity among our students. 🎶

Thank you once again, Tom and Family for this very special gift. Oscar will always be remembered in our school, and his memory will live on through the music that fills our corridors and brings our school community together. ❤️🎹

We are delighted to invite you to Loreto Community School on Monday 12th October for an information evening introducing Studyclix and ExamRevision, two online study and revision platforms in which our school has invested to support your child’s learning. Two of our teachers will demonstrate how to use these platforms and explain how they can help students develop positive study habits, build confidence and prepare for exams.

Studyclix brings together past exam questions organised by topic, marking schemes and additional revision resources, helping students practise what they have learned and become more familiar with exam questions.

ExamRevision offers clear video lessons, revision notes and interactive quizzes, allowing students to revisit topics, check their understanding and revise at their own pace.

Both platforms are available to our students at no additional cost to families, as part of our commitment to helping every student achieve their personal best. The evening will offer practical tips and helpful guidance on making the most of these resources and supporting your child’s study at home. Whether you are familiar with online learning tools or discovering them for the first time, you will be warmly welcome.
We look forward to welcoming you and working together to support your child throughout their learning journey.
