Just a little reminder that The Meadow Childcare will be closed this Bank Holiday Monday the 4th of May.

This experience was designed to promote and strengthen the muscles in their hands, supporting the development of fine motor skills which are essential for early writing and everyday tasks💫

~ Our children enjoyed a fun and imaginative ice cream role play activity.
~ Using foam, sprinkles, and cones, they scooped and created their own “ice creams”.
~ To extend the experience, our children had real ice cream cones as a treat😊🍦

A lovely activity combining imaginative play with real-life sensory exploration, making learning both fun and meaningful 🍦❄️✨

• Today the children explored a creative activity using real flowers to paint and make patterns. 🌷
•This hands-on experience allowed them to experiment with different shapes, colours, and textures found in nature. 🌸 🪻
•Creativity & Expression: Children are free to create their own designs and express themselves through art.🎨

🚨 Applications for school transport services for the 2026-2027 school year are open.

🚨 The scheme is available for primary and secondary school students.

🤝 You may qualify for the school transport scheme depending on how far away your child lives from their nearest suitable school.

🏫 The fees for the school transport scheme in 2026 are:

✅ €100 for a primary school child
✅ €100 for a secondary school child

The maximum fee for a primary school family is €200, and the maximum fee for a secondary school family is €220.

You can apply on the Bus Éireann website.

The closing date for on-time applications is Friday, 8 May 2026. If you don't apply on time, there is no guarantee that your child will get a ticket.
