"Ed Parker often reminded us that Kenpo is a family — that the art is bigger than any one person, any one school, or any one organization. He warned that when we fight each other, we weaken the very thing we claim to protect.

I didn’t leave the art. I left the politics.

I still love Kenpo. I still love the history. I still love the people who built it.

I hope someday we can all find our way back to the part of Kenpo that brought us into the dojo in the first place".
