Many thanks to everyone who joined us today for Grandparents and Special Persons day in our school. We had a great time and the children loved sharing the day with you. Many thanks to all who donated to our bake sale and a massive thank you to Karen, Margaret and Sandra who assisted with the Tea and Coffee also! We have some fabulous photos to share with you all!

Bhí an craic againn inniú le haghaidh Seachtaine na Gaeilge. Chan gach rang amhrán Gaelach don tionól. Bhíomar an bhródúil as na páistí go léir! Maith sibh gach guine! ☘️

We had great fun today for Seachtain na Gaeilge. Every class sung an Irish Song for our Assembly. We are very proud of the all the children. Well done everyone! ☘️

We are so looking forward to hosting Grandparents & Special Person Day this Friday, March 13th, 2026.

Below is a timetable for visiting the classrooms. We will have a Bake Sale hosted by 5th and 6th class also on Friday. All donations are kindly accepted for a charity that the 5th and 6th class will choose.

We were delighted to begin our Incredible Edibles journey with the infants last week. We planted potatoes, strawberries, turnip, onions and peas to begin. The children learned so much about where vegetables come from and how to help them grow. We can't wait to watch them grow and try the tasty food that we harvest. Agri Aware 🧅 🍓

We would like to say a massive thank you to Donal Galligan who came into the school today for Engineers Week. He explained to the children in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th class all about Engineers and the different types that there are. The children got to see some real life items that engineers made in Takumi such as a hip replacement for a chihuahua and items made for aeroplanes! They had a lot of fun and learned so much from it! ⚙️
