"I enjoyed learning something that I have never really thought of before. It made me realize that I have an interest in history and I would like to now learn more about my own country’s heritage to a greater extent than what I learned in elementary and high school." - Lauren Newman Stewart, student.

"I loved the field trips. The sites are sometimes hard to visit on your own, so that's very practical. The students receive a guided tour and gain a better understanding of what is said in the lectures and connects the information. Things really come together during the field trips." - Katharina Dehnhardt, recent student.

It is with a heavy heart that we convey the sad news of the death of our good friend and colleague, Dr Eoin Grogan. A kind gentle soul who was pivotal to the development and delivery of the Irish Cultural Heritage programme, contributed greatly to the School of Celtic Studies over the years, and who shared willingly of his time and his knowledge. We will miss him greatly. May he rest in peace. Funeral arrangements to follow.

Is oth linn go mór a rá go ndeachaigh ár seanchara agus iar-chomhghleacaí, Dr Eoin Grogan, ar shlí na fírinne. Fear uasal séimh a bhí lárnach i bhforbairt agus i bhfás chlár Oidhreacht Chultúrtha na hÉireann, a chuir go mór le Scoil an Léinn Cheiltigh thar na blianta, agus a roinn a chuid eolais go fial linn féin agus le mic léinn araon. Braithfimid uainn go mór é. Suaimhneas síoraí go raibh aige. Tá na socruithe sochraide le deimhniú go fóill.
