Research Assistant: This is a four month three day a week position for a Research Assistant with expertise in project coordination, as well as in planning and conducting outreach events, training sessions (e.g. workshops), and user evaluations. This position will support eDuCaTE: The Decade of Commemorations through Technology project (funded by a Science Foundation Ireland Discover Grant) team. The successful candidate will take part in training and outreach activities for the projects ‘Letters of 1916-23’ and ‘Contested Memories – The Battle of Mount Street Bridge: History in a Box’.
Administrative Officer: This is a full time four month position. The successful candidate will join the EU-funded (Creative Europe) IGNITE project which is developing a Masters Module for the Creative and Cultural Industries. Responsibilities include supporting the Project PI in project coordination, budget management, project (EU) reporting, and establishing the project’s web and social media presence. The post-holder will also be involved in the authoring of a baseline report for the project.

An Foras Feasa is offering an interesting and interactive Digital Humanities stream to international students. Digital Humanities uses 2D and 3D technology to analyse cultural heritage.
Semester 1: Remaking the Past Module satisfies history requirements and looks at technology to bring history and archaeology to life.
Semester 2: Remixing Text Module satisfies English requirements and looks at text from the early 19th and 20th centuries, including the 1916 Letters Project.
