A very best of luck to all of our 3rd Year and 6th Year students as you begin your Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate examinations tomorrow.
Over the past few years, you have worked hard, faced challenges, celebrated successes and grown enormously as students and as people.While it may not always have felt like it, every class attended, every assignment completed and every bit of revision has helped prepare you for this moment.
Tonight, try to switch off, get some rest and trust in the work you have done. Read each question carefully, stay calm and take each exam one step at a time. Remember that an exam can only measure what you write on a particular day. It can never measure your character, your kindness, your resilience or the many qualities that make you who you are.
We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you and we know you will represent yourselves and Maynooth Community College brilliantly over the coming weeks.

Today we celebrated the retirement of Miss.McGowan who had been a member of our Guidance team since MCC was founded. We are so grateful for the care and guidance you showed for all of our students. You always went above and beyond to ensure our students felt supported and heard and our staffroom won't be the same without you. We wish you a retirement filled with health, happiness, and the time to do everything you love.

It was great to welcome all of our incoming first year students last night to start their transition to MCC . It was lovely to meet you and your parents . We hope you all enjoy the last few weeks of Primary school and are looking forward to you all joining the MCC community in August .
