Fantastic to see the Casino Ma Marino back open today, Thursday 20 August.

Our architectural gem had been closed due to some roof damage. OPW were completing some final touches early this morning.

It's a must visit building that is full of secrets both architecturally and historically and gives a great insight into life in the past. Your visit has to be with the very knowledgeable tour guides

Quick check to see if the Marino Casino is due to reopen soon.

It closed last November as usual for the winter season.

Lots of improvements were planned with the aim of developing a new community and social amenity adjacent to it. There were to be two flexible exhibition spaces. Plans also include a public cafe, changing places toilet, outdoor tiered seating area on the east side.

Visited 17 July and was sad to see that the lovely lawns are now gone wild and the Casino was still closed.

Hoping it will reopen soon
