IBSD Diploma Reminder: The closing date for receipt of entry forms and fees (from new AND continuing candidates) is 1 November. Late entries not accepted. Diploma exam date is 7 December.

Following the forthcoming retirement of our Director, David Meredith, the Irish Board will continue in the experienced hands of Fiona Bourke, Emma McGrath and Karen Murphy, who will become the new Directors, and will bring a burst of energy to take the Irish Board to new heights 💫

For the time being, the syllabus, fees, email address and booking systems will remain unchanged.

Introducing our new poetry resource! We’ve been busy collating a large selection of age-appropriate poems for each Grade level to help teachers prepare candidates for our exams.

Our chosen poems are suggestions only and teachers are not obliged to use them. However, we do ask that teachers refer to our selection as a guide for the level of complexity required for each Grade.

The Speech and Drama Teachers of Ireland has asked us to remind you that they are holding a Zoom Q&A session tomorrow (Friday) at 8pm about their Hybrid (remote heats/live finals) Feis.
