Over the past few weeks, our pupils have thoroughly enjoyed a series of athletics training sessions with John. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Through a range of fun and engaging activities, the children developed their running, jumping and throwing skills while building confidence, teamwork and resilience along the way.

A huge thank you to John for sharing his expertise and enthusiasm with our pupils. We have loved seeing the progress and enjoyment throughout the programme!

Our 5th & 6th Class had a brilliant day out on their school tour today!

They started off with a visit to Spike Island, where they enjoyed a guided tour of the island, explored the underground tunnels, took part in orienteering challenges and had some fun in the playground.

After that, they headed to Planet for bowling and laser tag, which was a great way to finish off the day!

The amazing weather made the day even better. A fantastic school tour for everyone! 🎳🌞

Well done to our boys and girls from the senior classes who represented our school in the recent Sciath na Scol Hurling and Camogie Blitzes. 👏🏻

Both teams performed brilliantly, showing great skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

We were delighted to host both blitzes here in Ballyclough 😁

The Daffodil Room had a fantastic trip to Cork in March where they travelled by train from Mallow, which was very exciting.
They went to see ‘Zog’ at the Everyman Palace Theatre followed by a drink and treat in the Metropole Hotel.

On the journey home, they had a very special experience. The boys got to see inside the train cab on the Cork to Dublin train! They even got to blow the train horn and meet the train driver, which was amazing.

They all had a brilliant day and made lots of happy memories together.
