Junior infants were delighted to have Macroom Fire Service visit the school on Wednesday. There was lots of excitement when they got to sit on the fire truck and try out the hose! They also learnt about fire safety. Thank you so much to Ruby's dad, Ian for organising this.🔥👨‍🚒🚒🧯

A huge thank you to our wonderful pupils and parents for bringing in such an array of fascinating items and delicious food. The children thoroughly enjoyed learning about different cultures and sampling a variety of tasty dishes. 🇪🇸 🇮🇹 🇩🇪 🇵🇹 🇳🇱
The pupils were also treated to ice cream🍦, kindly organised by our Student Council. 😊

Clondrohid N.S. would like to thank Tony O'Donovan, the Macroom Men's shed and the West Cork Chevals for their very generous donations recently. Tony walked a hundred miles in March and the West Cork Cheval group hosted a charity walk in Inchigeelagh. Both parties donated the money they raised to Droichidín within the school. These funds will go towards many new resources for Droichidín including a climbing wall for the Droichidín yard.
The Macroom Men's shed donated two raised beds for planting vegetation. The green fingers within Droichidín will get great use out of the beds in years to come.
Many thanks to all groups for their generous work and effort!
