Congratulations to our four wonderful 6th Class pupils who graduated from Lyreacrompane CNS this week.
We are so proud of everything you have achieved during your time with us.

You will be greatly missed by all in Lyre CNS, but we know you are ready for the exciting journey ahead. As you begin the next chapter of your life in secondary school, remember to stay true to yourselves, be kind, work hard, and believe in your own abilities.

Well done to our four teams who took part in our sports day. Despite very close competition the red team were victorious this year. Special congratulations to Kieran and Izabel who were awarded the school spirit awards this year well done!!! 👏

We are delighted to be one of 16 schools in Kerry who have been awarded the Gold Curious Minds Award 2026 acknowledging our schools work in STEM. This is the 2nd year we have won this award. Well done to all our boys and girls for their work in achieving this award

We are delighted to announce that we have come joint 2nd in The Heritage Hunters Competition. 3rd to 6th class under the guidance the Muinteoir Neasa completed a local history project. As part of the project local historian Joe Harrington visited the children and told them wonderful stories of Lyreacrompane. Joe brought the children on a local history walk around Lyre to see the local lime kiln, Old RIC Barracks and the Glen School. The children presented their project through the medium of art and STEM.
